6 And Esther said, ^a“A foe and enemy! This wicked Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and the queen.

8 On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man.

2 When ^bthe righteous increase, the people rejoice,
but when ^cthe wicked rule, the people groan.
